24 CARBURATION CONTROL, ADJUST-
MENT AND SETTING PROCEDURE WITH
AXONE 2000
• Remove seat as described in subsection 4 of section
“E”
• Remove left side body panel as described in subsec-
tion 3 of section “E”
• Connect a vacuometer to intake manifold ends
• Using the special “1” and “2” cables coming with the
tester, connect the AXONE 2000 “A” as follows:
1 Connect the “B” connector of the self-diagnosis in-
terface cable “1” to AXONE 2000 upper connector
“E”;
2 Connect the G connector of cable “1” to “H” con-
nector of power cable “2”;
3 Connect “F” connector to control unit diagnosis port
“D”;
4 At last, connect cable “C” to bike battery (do not
connect it to an outer battery).
Always connect the positive terminal first, and
then the negative one.
• Press button On/OFF “11” to switch on the AXONE
2000
• Use the
“
” and “ ” keys to position the cursor on
the “Self Diagnosis” menu (see page 62) and select it
by pressing key “3” “ ”
To enter the “Self Diagnosis” functions, the OBD
module shall be assembled on AXONE 2000 rear
side.
• Then select: vehicle make (MOTOGUZZI), model
(CALIFORNIA CATALYZED 2003), engine, system
type (injection system software), frame initial digits,
control unit assembled.
To select the desired item, move the cursor us-
ing keys “2” “ ” and “ ” To confirm, press “3”
“ ”. Once the desired item has been selected,
the system will automatically shift to the next
screen. To go back to previous screen, press
“4” “ ”
Once the type of vehicle to be tested has been
identified, the control unit and the diagnosis
connector (press “ ” “3”), the connector to
be used with the control unit (press “ ” “3”),
and the battery connection (press “ ” “3’) will
be displayed on AXONE 2000.
